All WhatsApp users are not able to see payment options in their apps. For such users the feature will go live when an updated user will send a message to the user from their app. In simple words, if one of your friends has got a payment feature and you do not, then after the friend’s message you will have this option. After the message arrives, the user will have to reload his app.
The payment options will appear in the settings of whatsapp. This feature is based on India’s UPI payment method. This will allow users to transfer direct bank transfers.
This feature is partnering with many banks for whatsapp in WhatsApp. For IPI payment, WhatsApp has partnered with ICICI Bank. For users to activate the UPI, the boss mobile number needs to be verified via SMS for capturing the terms and conditions. This list is included with ICICI, HDFC, Axis, SBI, Yes Bank, Allahabad Bank, Punjab National Bank etc.
Activate the UPI on WhatsApp

Click on Ad New Bank Account
There will be an option to accept the terms and conditions in which you have to choose yes or OK
After this you have to verify your number
After the mobile number verification, the list of banks will come

After this, users will have to enter the last 6 digits of their debit card. With this, expiry date will also be filled.
